These Terms of Service govern your use of the Vandrite software, developed and maintained by Vandrite. By creating an account or using our services, you fully agree to the terms described herein.

1. Definitions

• "Vandrite" refers to the study organization software, including desktop, web, and mobile versions.
• "User" refers to any individual or entity that uses Vandrite.
• "Content" refers to texts, images, files, and any data created or uploaded by the user.

2. Account Creation and Use

• To use full features, you must create an account by providing a valid email and secure password.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages or bypass restrictions is prohibited.
• Users under 13 years old may not create accounts without supervision from a legal guardian.

3. License of Use

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Vandrite according to your plan.
• You may NOT: redistribute, sell, sublicense, or modify the software's source code.
• You may NOT: use reverse engineering, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
• The license is valid while your account is active and in compliance with these terms.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

• All content you create (summaries, notes, flashcards) remains your property.
• You grant us a limited license only to store, sync, and display your content within the app.
• We do not use your content for AI training, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the service.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

• Paid plans are automatically billed on your chosen cycle (monthly or yearly) until canceled.
• You can cancel at any time; premium access continues until the end of the paid period.
• We do not offer proportional refunds for unused periods, except when required by law.
• Prices may be changed with 30 days prior notice via email.

6. Prohibited Use

• Using Vandrite for illegal activities, spam, harassment, or copyright infringement is prohibited.
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or internal systems without authorization is prohibited.
• Violations may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Vandrite is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
• We are not responsible for data loss caused by user error or third parties.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.

8. Changes and Contact

• We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified via email.
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
